Community Development
The Community & Economic Development Program (CED) at the Texoma Council of Governments administers several programs that address develop efforts in the Texoma region. This includes serving as the Economic Development District for Texoma (EDD), a designation awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, in order to engage the region in comprehensive economic development planning to strategize for growth in our area. CED staff also serve as the support staff for the Texoma Regional Review Committee that sets the scoring criteria for “non-entitlement” communities seeking Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for projects in their community.For more information about these programs and additional projects facilitated by CED staff, or visit www.texomaedd.org.
