9-1-1 Addressing
The Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG) is proud to partner with Grayson County, Fannin County and the City of Denison in assigning addresses and developing maps that help first responders get to the right location as quickly as possible. This effort is possible thanks to the expertise of the TCOG staff and the cooperation of these jurisdictions who have recognized the economies of scale and efficiencies that are possible when they work together on a regional basis. In particular, Grayson County deserves a great deal of credit for leading in this endeavor. Without their willingness to take the first step, this effort would still be just an idea instead of an ever-growing reality.
